Major mistakes occurred during an attempt to cook by a ten-year-old child in an apartment in Bludenz on Thursday evening. Fortunately, it turned out to be simple in the end.
Around 5:30 p.m., the child started heating up pasta in a pan for dinner. Then it left the stove and forgot about the cooking project. Within a few minutes, a dense cloud of smoke billowed through the kitchen and the first flames were already blazing from the pan. Fortunately the father was there, he managed to put out the fire himself.
There were two other children in the apartment at the time of the incident and they were all able to escape the smoke in time. The material damage has not yet been quantified, but is expected to be limited.
