On Friday evening, two unknown perpetrators attacked a young man from Klagenfurt. In Villach, a 71-year-old fell victim to burglars.
While a 28-year-old from Klagenfurt might have been able to recognize the threat in time during the summer months, it was far too dark for that on Friday evening at 6:45 p.m. The young man was traveling in the Viktring district of Klagenfurt when he was suddenly attacked by two robbers. “The unknown perpetrators kicked the 28-year-old to the ground,” the police said. “One man then held the man down and stole a small amount of money from his wallet.” The two perpetrators then fled – an immediate police investigation unfortunately yielded no results. The young man himself was slightly injured as a result of the robbery.
Burglars broke windows
Also on Friday, perpetrators gained access to a residential building in Villach. “Between 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. they broke a window,” police said. “The perpetrators stole cash and various jewelry from the home.” The 71-year-old resident of the home suffered four-figure damage. The investigation is still ongoing here too.
