After the shooting in front of the Vorarlberg nightclub “Sender”, the police are still looking for the perpetrator. The researchers assume that there is a history between the perpetrator and the victims.
As reported, two men of Chechen descent, one of whom has Austrian nationality, were shot on Sunday evening in front of the Lustenau nightclub “Sender”. Police have now released new details about what happened.
The two men therefore wanted to go to the nightclub with a third friend, but they were refused entry. After a long discussion, they were finally about to withdraw when an unknown man suddenly appeared with a gun and fired several shots – hitting two of the men in the limbs.
The perpetrator then fled in a black SUV. The police are still looking for the man – who is armed and probably very dangerous – but a large-scale search that was immediately launched yielded nothing. The fugitive may have fled abroad, which is why neighboring countries were also involved in the search.
In any case, the Vorarlberg police assume that there was a history between the victims and the perpetrators. It is now hoped that more detailed information will emerge from surveys of the victims and those around them.
