Only the minimum services circulate, which the Basque government has set at 30% of scheduled buses on a normal day.
The first working day of the strike on city buses in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Tuvisawhich started last Saturday 100% tracking among the drivers, just like the two previous days, sources from the factory committee have reported.
This way only minimal services circulatethat the Basque government has set at 30% of the number of buses running on a normal day, with priority given to lines without alternative transport or those intended for health centers.
This morning the Tuvisa workers have a car caravan through the city center to make their protest visible and this afternoon they plan to organize a demonstration starting in Adriano VI and ending in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca.
The indefinite strike in Tuvisa is preceded by a series of strikes and mobilizations that started in December 2023. The workers are demanding that the buses lost since the pandemic be recovered and that they implement the buses necessary to provide quality services, reverse privatizations and introduce a register of effective days.
