What motivates young people, how do they view the world? In his new series ‘We’re not like that!’ author Robert Schneider talks to young people. He recently met high school senior Lilly Jordan.
“I could speak dialect, but that would seem unnatural,” says the young lady sitting opposite me. When her parents came to Vorarlberg from Bavaria – her mother is a pharmacist, her father an engineer – Lilly Jordan was only one year old. She is currently preparing for the Matura at BORG Götzis. I immediately have the feeling that I am dealing with a young woman who knows exactly what she wants and has clear ideas about her life. She can express herself brilliantly. She cares more about differentiation than snap judgments.
