Low in calories, tasty when prepared correctly and a protein bomb: the East Styrian couple Knittelfelder have recognized a trend, perfected it and are now on their way to success with the superfood tofu. Why is this not a contradiction for pig farmers?

Tofu – many people do not understand the term, for them it is neither fish nor meat, and admittedly, in its “natural state” it does not even taste particularly good. “But the more refined it is, the better,” laughs Christoph Knittelfelder and immediately gives us the proof: tofu briefly fried in the pumpkin coating – a real experience for the taste buds that compare with a “real” schnitzel and will probably also convince meat eaters.
