He was so small and cute, but a chihuahua didn’t help when two bulldogs spotted him while walking in the border town of Passau. The large dogs suddenly broke free from the leash and bit their smaller counterparts to death. His wife wanted to help him, but was bitten herself.
On Tuesday, a local woman went for a walk with her dog in the Eduard-Hamm-Strasse area in the Upper Austrian-Bavarian border town of Passau. Around 10am, a lady with two larger dogs, believed to be bulldogs, approached the 77-year-old. The two large dogs suddenly ripped off the leash and attacked the elderly person’s Chihuahua.
A desperate woman’s hand was bitten
She tried to separate the dogs and was bitten on the hand. The Chihuahua was also bitten several times. The bites were fatal to the dog. The initially unknown lady then left Eduard-Hamm-Straße with her two dogs. The chihuahua’s owner suffered minor injuries from the dog’s bite.
The dog owner’s personal details have now been identified.
