He just wanted to remove some wind-blown trees from the forest, but the work turned out to be fatal for 48-year-old Weizer. In a forest in Anger (Weiz district), a falling tree hit him in the lower leg and seriously injured him.

On Thursday morning around 10:30 am he called his wife and the rescuers via mobile phone. The Anger fire brigade was able to carry him out of the forest. After the first treatment, the 48-year-old was flown to Weizer Hospital.
