On Thursday, a cyclist fell on the Aschbach-Markt in the Amstetten district and had to be resuscitated. The man’s identity was initially unclear.
The fall took place on the holiday between 3:00 PM and 3:50 PM at the L6220 in Aschbach-Markt in the Amstetten district. The cyclist then remained motionless. He was successfully resuscitated and transported to Kepler University Hospital in Linz with serious injuries.
Identity clarified
Because the motorcyclist had no identity papers with him, the man’s identity could not be clarified at first. The police asked for information in a broadcast on Friday. The Lower Austrian State Police Directorate has now announced that the suspect is a 72-year-old Ukrainian citizen living in the Amstetten district.
