Three bodies were found in a residential building in Horovice, southwest of Prague. A Czech police spokeswoman said on Sunday that the victims were a mother and her two young children. They died a violent death.
To clarify the exact circumstances, autopsies of the bodies were ordered. Authorities were intensively searching for a suspect armed with a firearm, the woman’s partner.
Suspected perpetrator found dead
The man was later found dead in a hotel in the South Moravia administrative region in the southeast of the country. The town of Horovice has about 7,500 inhabitants and is located almost 50 kilometers from Prague.

On Friday, a 13-year-old and her mother (51) were found dead in the Landstrasse district; the husband and father (53), who initially disappeared, are considered suspects. In the evening, three women were killed in a knife attack in a brothel in Brigittenau and a suspect was arrested.
