On Monday, two cars collided in the municipality of Großarl im Pongau (Salzburg). The two drivers were injured in the accident and had to be taken to hospital. Alcohol tests for both people involved were negative and Großarler Landesstraße was closed during the cleaning work.
A 20-year-old woman overlooked an oncoming vehicle with a 51-year-old driver as she turned onto Grossarler Landesstraße from a side street. She wanted to get out of the way in time, but was unable to prevent the crash.
Injured to an unspecified degree
Both suffered unknown injuries and were taken to hospital. The alcohol tests were negative and the Großarl volunteer fire brigade took care of the cleaning work at the accident site.
