Next case of domestic violence: On Monday evening, a 25-year-old threatened his partner and his mother with a knife, hit his girlfriend’s son (7) and did not cooperate when police were later arrested.
A 25-year-old man allegedly threatened his 30-year-old partner and her 60-year-old mother with a knife in Vienna-Floridsdorf on Monday evening. The situation escalated when he injured himself with the knife.
When the women tried to stop the man’s plans, the 25-year-old wanted to attack them with the knife. The man also allegedly hit the 30-year-old’s seven-year-old son with the palm of his hand.
Resisting arrest
The women and child were able to escape from the apartment and alert police. The suspect was temporarily arrested by officers. According to police, the man violently resisted arrest. An entry and approach ban and a temporary weapons ban were issued against him.
The man is currently in police custody and no questioning has yet taken place. The women and son were physically unharmed.
