A not so successful conversation between two families on Friday evening in Vienna-Margareten resulted in two injuries and seven reports.
Because they wanted clarity about the return of a mobile phone, two families met in Vienna-Margareten on Friday evening for a discussion. As is often the case in these types of cases, it did not end well: according to police spokesman Mattias Schuster, the conversation escalated. The disagreements were resolved with fists and kicks, the result was seven reports and two injuries.
“Chaotic fight”
The meeting took place around 11:30 PM in Schönbrunner Strasse. The background may have been that a man from one family had developed a tender bond with a woman from the other family, but this had been severed. Ultimately, the only thing that remains to be clarified is how to return the mobile phone, when and under what conditions.
A “chaotic scuffle” ensued, Schuster said. According to ‘Today’, citing professional rescue efforts, two people involved, a 19-year-old and a 43-year-old, were taken to hospital with bruises. Seven people were reported.
