A dispute between two asylum seekers in Feldkirchen near Graz came to a bloody end on Friday evening: an 18-year-old Afghan stabbed a 19-year-old fellow countryman with a knife. The young man had to be operated on at the LKH Graz with serious injuries.
According to the police, it is still unclear what the dispute between two Afghans (18 and 19 years old) in an asylum accommodation was about. In any case, the altercation ended dramatically: the 18-year-old stabbed his fellow countryman several times in the upper body.
Knife attacker in custody
The 19-year-old was taken to LKH Graz with serious injuries and had to undergo surgery. The 18-year-old suffered facial injuries and scratches on his arm as a result of the altercation. According to police, he was arrested without resistance and taken to Graz-Jakomini prison.
