The police are currently investigating an art theft in the Waldviertel. A total of five paintings have disappeared from a warehouse in Brand-Nagelberg in the Gmünd district.
The loot is worth 30,000 euros
The stolen goods include a photo by Edmund Mahlknecht from 1856, a watercolor by Dornhackl and a work by Michael Burisch. “The unknown perpetrators also stole a mineral collection,” reports a researcher. The total value of the loot is 30,000 euros.
The police are looking for information
