Gruesome instructions have been discovered on a soldier’s mobile phone, believed to be from Russian commanders. It calls, among other things, for “tasting human flesh,” brutal torture and gang rape, as the Ukrainian army has announced.
The phone fell into the hands of the Ukrainian army after its owner was captured. The content in chats on it is brutal. The Russian soldiers were called upon to practice cannibalism and “rape local girls in groups,” as the British newspaper “Sun” reported.
This Telegram message reports the gruesome discovery – the photo shows the captured soldier:
Ukrainian deputy commander Maxym Zhorin reported the gruesome discovery. He took screenshots of the chat in question and wrote: “A Russian prisoner and his ‘instructions’ on his cell phone.” Zhorin further notes: ‘The level of development of his human qualities is clear. The Russian soldiers are all like that – absolutely without principles and signs of civilization.”
Soldiers had to take home ‘souvenirs’ from houses
The soldier was also advised to take souvenirs from the war zone: “Collect trophies from the houses of the enemies you killed. Take them home as a good luck charm and as a souvenir.” He would also participate in executions. There were detailed instructions on how this should be done: “Ideally, you drown them in an ice hole, stab them with a bayonet, or burn down entire families and houses.”
After the invasion of Ukraine, Russian war atrocities became widely known; the massacre in the city of Bucha in particular is remembered by many. In the northwestern city of Kiev, hundreds of civilians were massacred and sometimes tortured, including scores of women and children. Some bodies were also found with their hands tied after being freed by the Ukrainian army.
