Seriously injured – woman fell into an empty swimming pool during spring cleaning

“Rescuing people who have fallen deep into an empty swimming pool.” With this dramatic emergency message, the Ischl firefighters were alerted to the town of Kaltenbach in Upper Austria on Saturday afternoon.

“Several vehicles were deployed to the scene within a very short time after the alarm was received. As there was no rescue equipment available on site, our comrades quickly took over the care of the patient,” reports the Ischl fire brigade.

A woman lost her balance while cleaning the garden wall and fell into an empty swimming pool. The woman suffered several injuries to her body during the fall.

The Florianis treated the patient with the rescue and emergency medical team and took her to the ambulance. The injured person was taken to Bad Ischl hospital. After half an hour the operation was completed.
