Defense has clarified that “air defense assets intercepted and destroyed 35 unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of Moscow (4), Belgorod (3), Kaluga (2), Oryol (1), Rostov (1), Yaroslavl (4), Kursk (3 ) and Krasnodar (17). As a result, the activities of the Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports have been significantly reduced over the past few hours, while air crews, air traffic controllers and airport services have taken all necessary measures to ensure flight safety as a top priority.
A few hours later, the three facilities in Moscow were operating at full capacity again.
This wave of attacks comes after the governor of Russia’s Bryansk region announced the launch of a Ukrainian ballistic missilethe same day that the Russian Foreign Ministry had reported the deaths of fifteen people as a result of Ukraine’s aggression over the past two days.
