Not a single wind turbine can be seen in Tyrol. Attempts by National Councilor Franz Hörl (ÖVP) to build the first such clean electricity power plant in Gerlos came to nothing. It is still unclear when and where the first wind turbine will be located in the “Holy Land”. In any case, environmental advocacy has an important voice in such projects. They recently produced a position paper on this topic that was about twenty pages long.
