This declaration was signed in the context of WindEurope 2024, which will be held from Wednesday to Friday at the BEC in Barakaldo and is the most important event for the European wind sector.

The Spanish Wind Energy Charter, signed by the Third Vice President and Minister of Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, and the President of the Wind Business Association (AEE), Juan Diego Díaz, arrives after Spain, together with 25 other Member States and the European wind sector, signed it “European Wind Charter”.

The minister Teresa Ribera He emphasized that the Spanish Charter is “better” than the European one and congratulated himself on the fact that “today a crucial step is being taken”. According to him, the signing of this Charter expresses the commitment of governments to support the “continuous” improvement of the sector and the sector itself “imposes obligations on itself”.
