14 men testified this Wednesday at the Pamplona Civil Guard Command after being investigated for their alleged participation in the incidents that took place last February in the context of the farmers and ranchers’ protests, in which they pushed a Civil Guard vehicle.
The fourteen people under investigation are charged with crimes of public disorder, resistance and disobedience. In addition, four of them are charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer, and another six are considered alleged perpetrators of a petty crime of damaging a service vehicle.
The proceedings will be sent to the Pamplona Guard Court in the coming days, indicate the same sources, who recall that the alleged crimes were committed in the context of the mobilizations of the peasants on February 8 on the Camino de Santiago highway (A-12 ). .
Along that route, and from the Tierra Estella area, dozens of tractors had arrived near Zizur, where the Civil Guard stationed some official vehicles on the road to prevent the advance of farmers and ranchers.
However, some of them managed to push away one of the service vehicles, breaking the entry barrier.
