Crocus City Hall – Moscow terrorists murdered while drunk on drugs

Date:

According to a report by the Russian state news agency Tass, the four main suspects arrested after the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall event hall near Moscow were allegedly under the influence of drugs.

“The expertise will determine which drugs or psychotropic medications they used,” Tass reported Thursday, citing investigators.

The alleged perpetrators could therefore have been under the influence of drugs not only on the day itself, but also beforehand. The terrorist militia Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack that left more than 140 dead.

Another arrest has been reported
Following last Friday’s terrorist attack, the number of dead was recently put at 143 and the number of injured at 360. Authorities reported the first arrests on Saturday. On Thursday, the investigative committee reported another arrest. According to the court, the four suspected gunmen, who the media reported were tortured, missed the deadline to appeal the arrest warrants.

For days, people have been laying flowers in the hall in northwest Moscow in memory of the victims. Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin has not visited the crime scene nearly a week after the worst terrorist attack in two decades. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in response to a question about Putin’s absence that the president did not want to disrupt the investigation and cleanup efforts.

Kremlin opponents accuse Putin of being emotionally cold
Kremlin opponents accuse Putin of being emotionally cold and afraid to appear in public in such a place. They criticize the president’s failure after nearly 25 years in power – despite promises to defeat terror and guarantee security. Putin offered his condolences to the families of those who died; Authorities have promised financial help for the injured and relatives.

Putin had confirmed that Islamists had committed the crime. However, he sees a Ukrainian trail that he has not specified and for which he has not provided any evidence. Kremlin spokesman Peskov emphasized in an interview that the masterminds had not yet been identified.
