The second highest level of avalanche danger (level 4) can be expected in the Gurgler Group and the central Stubai Alps due to heavy rainfall on Monday night. Up to 50 centimeters of new snow could fall in this area by Easter Monday.
According to the state’s avalanche warning service, an increase in spontaneous avalanche activity is expected there. At the same time, the avalanche danger is also increasing in other regions of Tyrol, such as the Zillertal Alps or East Tyrol. There lies a significant danger (level 3).
