Not far from the Vorarlberg Genze on the German highway A96 towards Lindau, an unusual police action took place on Thursday. An e-bike rider sat on the hard shoulder before finally being stopped in a parking lot.
An e-biker found by traffic police around 1 p.m. on Thursday in the Winterberg parking lot in the municipality of Leutkirchen may have relied too much on her navigation system.
The officers had been warned by several road users because the woman was cycling on the A96 in the hard shoulder towards Vorarlberg.
According to her own statements, the cyclist wanted to visit a friend. The police got the woman safely off the highway and warned her.
