After Israel’s attack on Damascus on Monday, Iran vowed revenge and said Israel “will regret” crossing “the red lines.”
Israel will begin this Thursday by intentionally changing the GPS service across the country to prevent possible missile or drone attacks, in revenge for the attack attributed to Israeli aviation on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which killed thirteen people, including seven Iranian revolutionary guards.
“Today the security system began activating GPS jamming across the country, including the center, as part of preparations for Iranian revenge and the launch of cruise missiles, drones and guided missiles towards Israel,” he reported.
Thus, users of the Israeli-made Waze location application will see interference and be recognized as being in Beirut, Lebanon at all times.
The Israeli military announced yesterday that it has increased personnel and the number of reservists in its air force, in what Israeli media associate with a state of “high alert” after Monday’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria.
For his part, Iran’s President Ibrahim Raisi launched one serious threat to Israel, following the attack attributed to Israel, which killed senior Iranian officials, including Mohammad Reza Zahedi, commander of the Syrian and Lebanese Quds Forces. “The attack will not go unanswered. The Zionists must know that they will never achieve their evil goals through such inhumane actions,” he said.
