A wolf caused a commotion around Krems in Lower Austria on Wednesday. A “Krone” reader discovered the animal shortly before the gates of the school town, and another person may also have spotted the stray in the Krems suburb of Rehberg. A video has now appeared of Eggendorf am Wagram in the Korneuburg district.
On Wednesday, a wolf was spotted in the parking lot of the Schnitzel Drive-In next to Kremser Bundesstrasse 37. A “Krone” reader captured the Isegrim on video.
On Wednesday evening, a photo of an animal circulated on social media. “Wolf in Rehberg,” writes one user. It stands to reason that the mysterious sighting could be the same animal.
Not far from the snack bar
The town of Rehberg, a cadastral municipality of Krems an der Donau, is not far from the aforementioned Schnitzel Drive-In. The case is now fueling discussions about the so-called shy wild animals, which apparently increasingly dare to invade inhabited areas.
Another video in the Korneuburg district
Now the “Krone” also received a video from a reader from Eggendorf am Wagram, a cadastral community in the market town of Stetteldorf am Wagram in the Korneuburg district. On Tuesday someone observed a stray wolf there and filmed it.
