Woman seriously injured – trapper hidden camera in toilet facility

Date:

A DNA hit solved the case of the woman from Tennengau (33), who was found on the Halleiner Stapelweg in the autumn of 2023 with life-threatening head injuries. Now, months later, prosecutors are charging the Serbian cyclist who hit them. That wasn’t all: he is also said to have filmed people in a public toilet.

The Serb (45) had no place of residence and was probably in the country illegally. Following a police check in February 2024, he was taken into custody pending deportation and his DNA was entered into the database. This is how the criminal case surrounding the seriously injured woman on the Halleiner Stapelweg was resolved: As the “Krone” reported, passers-by discovered the woman lying on the asphalt covered in blood on September 29, 2023. At that time it was still completely unclear where the injuries came from.

The public prosecutor speaks of intent
After the DNA hit, the public prosecutor ordered the arrest of the suspect. Police officers started further investigations and accident expert Gerhard Kronreif also wrote a report on behalf of the judiciary. All these findings now led to the public prosecutor charging him with grievous bodily harm. Accordingly, he is said to have consciously and deliberately rammed the woman. This is the result of various factors, such as the location of the tracks, the angle of impact and the speed, explains Ricarda Eder of the Public Prosecution Service. “The report indicates intentional bodily harm.”

Camera hidden in public toilet
But that was not all: on August 30, the 45-year-old allegedly locked another woman unknown to him in her apartment by attaching a strap to the doorknob and stair railing, making it impossible to open it. the door of the apartment. After fifteen minutes, officers were able to free the victim. Accusation: deprivation of liberty. The motive? Unclear. He is also said to have installed a camera in the reservoir of a public toilet in the Hallein district and photographed and filmed people going to the toilet. Accusation: breach of data protection, and not a sexual offence, the spokeswoman explains. The why? Again completely unclear.

He is also said to have used and possessed cannabis and committed several burglaries and thefts. Loot: food, cigarettes, cash, e-scooter and smartphone.
