The 37-year-old received immediate emergency medical care from Vienna’s professional rescue service and was then taken to a hospital. “There was no danger to life,” police spokesman Mattias Schuster assured on Tuesday. The suspect (41) was also found at the scene and temporarily arrested. The woman was banned from entering and approaching the building, as well as a temporary weapons ban.
The suspected murder weapon, the knife (pictured above), was recovered from the 41-year-old’s apartment. When the facts became clear, it turned out that the reason for the incident was a verbal argument between the two. Further investigations are underway.
