A 23-year-old woman was flown to hospital with serious injuries on Tuesday afternoon. The woman was riding an e-scooter in Lenzing (Upper Austria) when she was overlooked at an intersection and hit by a young driver (19).
A 19-year-old driver from Regau was driving his car on Reibersdorferstrasse in the municipality of Lenzing on Tuesday around 2 p.m. The driver wanted to turn right before an intersection. The driver may have overlooked a 23-year-old e-scooter driver coming from the right. The two vehicles collided. The 23-year-old local woman fell so heavily that she suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident.
After emergency medical treatment at the scene of the accident, the injured person was flown to an accident hospital by rescue helicopter. The car driver was uninjured.
