Bad times bring bad predictions. Nowhere is this more evident than when it comes to climate change. This was recently confirmed in a particularly egregious way. Scientific expert “Krone” Dr. Christian Mähr is not a fan of these doomsday scenarios.
Towards the end of the century, a German professor – not mentioned here – predicted a few days ago that average temperatures will rise by 2.7 degrees if we do not stop climate change. Then a third of the currently inhabited Earth would become uninhabitable, sea levels would rise by 70 meters, up to three billion people would have to be displaced, which in turn would mean the de facto end of civilization. So far so bad.
