The air traffic controllers’ strike in France is hitting Euskal Herria airports with cancellations and diversions

France’s main inspectors’ union has already reached an agreement to call off the strike, but negotiations are still ongoing with other union organizations, so for now the incidents remain.

The air traffic controllers’ strike in France hit the Euskal Herria airports this Thursday. Seven flights from Bilbao airport to Paris were canceled this morning, Aena reports.

As a result of the disruptions, four flights between San Sebastián and Madrid have also been transferred to Bilbao airport, according to the same source.

Biarritz airport will in turn be paralyzed all day due to the air traffic controllers’ strike. Thirty flights were scheduled for Biarritz airport next Thursday, but none will take off or land.
