A serious motorcycle accident took place near Attersee on Tuesday evening. A two-wheeler driver and his passenger collided with a car on a bend and were thrown into a stone wall on the side of the road by the force of the impact. Both were seriously injured.
Weyregg, around 6:20 p.m.: A motorcycle with a 20-year-old from Attnang-Puchheim and a 24-year-old from Vöcklabruck was driving on the Attersee-Uferstrasse towards Steinbach when they collided in a bend with the car of an approaching Vöcklabruck man ( 29).
Driver started first aid
The driver, who was uninjured, immediately stopped and began administering first aid. It was initially unclear which of the two was driving the motorcycle and they could not yet be questioned. Both suffered serious injuries. They were transferred by helicopter to the Vöcklabruck hospital and the Linz accident hospital.
