A serious traffic accident took place in the Unterwaltersdorf district of the Baden district around 4:30 p.m. A motorist drove his vehicle from the center and wanted to drive into the gas station. He may have overlooked an approaching motorcyclist and subsequently hit him.
The cyclist suffered serious injuries. He received first aid from paramedics from the Ebreichsdorf Samaritan Association and the rescue helicopter team and was then flown to hospital. The driver of the car was uninjured.
Fatal fall
A tragic accident took place on Vienna’s outer ring highway (S1) on Friday morning. A motorcyclist was driving in the direction of Schwechat when, for unknown reasons, he fell into a right bend in the municipality of Rannersdorf in the Bruck an der Leitha district.
