The union, which has 49% of the representation, believes that the preliminary agreement that LAB, UGT and CCOO have reached with employers “does not guarantee purchasing power and condemns the sector to uncertainty.”
ELA has rejected the provisional agreement for sports venues in Bizkaia, which was reached yesterday by LAB, UGT and CCOO with the employers’ organization, and maintains the strike days it called for this month of May and June.
In a statement, ELA ruled that the preliminary agreement “does not guarantee purchasing power and condemns the sector to uncertainty until 2028 by including the option to use the permanent part-time permanent contract.
After accusing UGT, LAB and CCOO of “turning their backs on the path of mobilizations and strikes”, ELA, which has 49% of the representation, has announced that it is maintaining the strike calls for the week of May 20 and throughout month June, and “encourages staff to join the fight.”
As reported yesterday by LAB, the preliminary agreement foresees that remuneration for working hours will increase by at least 20.8%, with delays, adjustment to the CPI of recent years and biennial reviews if the increases were lower, in addition to the 35-hour working week , 68 hours less per year.
New content is also included, such as the compensation bonus for working on Sundays, the ultra-activity indefinitely, the night bonus, the wage scheme or forced retirement.
