After months of investigation, the Carinthian police have now succeeded in dealing another blow to the drug scene. Various drugs were seized from the home of a man from Villach (30).
The 30-year-old from Draustadt had been investigated for months on suspicion of drug trafficking. Last Thursday, detectives from the Villach city police command finally gained access.
Numerous drugs and scene-typical material seized
“The suspect’s home was searched on the orders of the Klagenfurt public prosecutor,” a detective explains. 75 grams of ecstasy tablets, 490 grams of cocaine, 45 grams of magic mushrooms, 26 grams of cannabis herb and 8.62 grams of MDMA, several tablets of narcotics, packaging material and typical drug scales for the scene were seized.
The street value of the drugs is estimated at around 50,000 euros. “The man has not confessed to the drug trafficking charge. He is reported to be at large,” an investigator said.
