At the same time, however, a 94-year-old woman from the Villach district walked across the entrance to the house and pushed her walker in front of her. “The 94-year-old was likely in the blind spot of the vehicle, directly in this mouth, which meant the driver did not see the woman,” state police headquarters said. However, when police arrived at the scene of the accident, there were no signs of a collision with the car or the walker: “An evasive maneuver by the 94-year-old could also have led to the fall,” police said.
