Unknown perpetrators carried out brutal actions against a student in Stegersbach in Burgenland. They ambushed the 15-year-old and pushed him off his electric scooter as he rode home from class. The young person was robbed and left injured after the fall – hospital!
The student from the Güssing district did not get far when he was ambushed on the street near the AMS. The attackers jumped on the teenager and pushed him off his electric scooter.
The victim fell on the asphalt and was robbed. The thieves made off with the money the teen had in his pocket. The 15-year-old lay injured on the ground.
Search for perpetrators
We are talking about two to three perpetrators. “I can’t say exactly how many there were. I didn’t see the attackers. “Everything happened too fast,” the student, who was wearing a helmet and goggles, said later.
The victim suffered painful abrasions and bruises. The injured man had to be taken to hospital, where doctors could treat him as an outpatient.
The shock runs deep
The wild attack – barely 300 meters from the school – took place last Thursday between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM, it now appears. The investigation has been in full swing since then.
Hoping for clues
The police are hoping for the public’s help in tracking down the callous money robbers. “Anyone who has observed anything suspicious should report immediately,” is the general call.
All relevant information should be sent to Stegersbach police station on 059/133 1206.
