A 38-year-old allegedly harassed a waitress in a shopping center in Vienna-Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus and then assaulted an employee who addressed him. He didn’t even stop at the oncoming police officers.
When the police arrived, the man also injured three police officers, police spokesman Markus Dittrich reported on Saturday. The employee first got a security guard on Friday evening because the man had been aggressive.
“The 38-year-old allegedly threw the 21-year-old’s mobile phone on the floor and grabbed him by the neck,” the spokesperson said. Shortly afterwards, the security guard came to the rescue so that the men could hold the suspect until police arrived.
With kicks and punches
The man he knew then also behaved very aggressively towards the officers. He insulted and attacked the officers with kicks and punches. Shortly afterwards he was arrested. “During the official act, a total of three police officers were injured, preventing them from continuing their service,” Dittrich said.
