A victim of a robbery was beaten into a coma at the train station: the police took the gang to jail. Some suspects may also have taken part in an alleged gang rape.
The “Krone” reported on the brutal robbery on Sunday at the train station in Bischofshofen: Seven young criminals knocked a Kosovar man (21) unconscious with punches and kicks on a platform and stole his wallet. As a result, the victim even found himself in an artificial deep sleep for several days.
Meanwhile, the police were looking for the known perpetrators: The first four suspected robbers – two Austrians (both 16), a Slovenian (18) and a Turk (19) – were arrested on Sunday. Now the others followed suit: two Serbs (16 and 17) and a Bosnian (19) turned themselves in to the police on Thursday. All seven are now in Puch prison – at the request of the public prosecutor.
Particularly explosive: Four of the seven suspects are said to have been involved in an alleged gang rape at the end of December. In both cases the investigation is still ongoing…
