Act goes back to Salzburg
“We have transferred the case to the Salzburg prosecutor’s office,” confirms senior prosecutor René Ruprecht of the WKStA when asked by “Krone”. The reason: The corruption prosecutors see “only” the suspicion of abuse of office around the grassland deals in Pinzgau.
That alone does not justify the jurisdiction of the WKStA. That is why an assignment was given to the Salzburg colleagues. And they are now fully involved: the file, which the Public Prosecution Service now has to search for possible crimes, is 112 pages long.
