Kitchen knife in waistband
The police were able to quickly find the suspect in the immediate vicinity and speak to him about the incident. “During a house search, a kitchen knife was found in the waistband of the 23-year-old suspect and confiscated. He was temporarily arrested,” police spokesman Mattias Schuster reports.
Suspect was drunk
According to the police, the Austrian man is said to have stated that he only had the kitchen knife with him to cook. The man also appeared to have an alcohol level of 1.4 per mille. He is now in police custody. The victim is still being sought; he fled after the incident.
