A grinding stand could have been the death sentence for an e-biker from the Mühlviertel. The 61-year-old fell so badly in front of his wife in a left bend in Rainbach im Mühlkreis that he died at the scene of the accident despite resuscitation.
A 61-year-old from Reichenau im Mühlkreis was riding e-bikes with his 55-year-old wife on Lichtenauer Straße in Rainbach im Mühlkreis on Wednesday around 12:50. He fell for unknown reasons in a left bend. The woman, who was riding directly behind her husband, was able to name the possible cause of the accident as the side stand not being fully folded in.

The 61-year-old may have fallen as a result. The Freistadt Red Cross and the emergency physician performed resuscitation on the scene, and the 61-year-old was pronounced dead at 2 p.m. The victim’s wife was treated at the scene by the WCC crisis intervention team.
