Serious traffic accident Saturday evening in Graz-Liebenau: a 15-year-old moped rider collided with an oncoming vehicle. The young Styrian was seriously injured.
The 15-year-old from Leibnitz was riding his moped northwest on Liebenauer Hauptstrasse at around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. When he wanted to turn into Neudorfer Straße at an intersection, he apparently overlooked the oncoming car of a 71-year-old Styrian who was driving straight ahead.
The teenager crashed into the car and was thrown over the hood and into the windshield. He landed on the asphalt seriously injured and had to be taken by the Red Cross to the children’s clinic of the LKH-Univ. to the hospital.
