Two girls were injured in an accident on a summer toboggan run in Styria on Tuesday. They noticed a backlog too late and took the gondola.
According to the police, the accident took place around 1 p.m. in Koglhof in the Weiz district. After a left turn, several sleds came to a standstill. The girls, aged seven and eight, noticed the backlog too late and took the last gondola.
Thrown out of the gondola
The impact threw the two from their sled and onto the track. The 66-year-old driver of the sled the children collided with was also injured. He probably suffered whiplash. All three were taken to hospitals in the region.
The girls were traveling with their grandmother and aunt.
