There is a sigh of relief in the case of a girl from Tyrol who has been missing since Tuesday: the 14-year-old girl from Innsbruck, who was last seen in Scharnitz (Innsbruck-Land district) near the Bavarian border, turned up in the northern German city of Bremen on Thursday.
The police initially feared an accident. But Melina is back! The young Tyrolean woman has been missing since Tuesday morning. The 14-year-old did not show up for work at a hotel in Seefeld, where she is currently doing an internship as a hotel clerk.
Last seen with friend
The mother had previously been unable to reach her daughter during the daily ‘check-up call’ and raised the alarm. Together with her boyfriend, Melina was last seen in Gießenbach, a district of Scharnitz, on Tuesday in the early morning hours around 6:30 a.m.
Couple found unharmed
Then on Thursday there was a deep sigh of relief: the two runaways were safely captured by a police patrol in Bremen, northern Germany, as the Tyrolean police confirmed to ‘Krone’ early in the afternoon. The circumstances surrounding the disappearance are not yet known.
