After an altercation between two men in Sigmund Freud Park in Vienna-Alsergrund, in which a 53-year-old was seriously injured, police are looking for a man named Willi.
On the night of July 30th around 23:45, the 53-year-old had a confrontation with the unknown man in the park, during which the two beat each other up. Eventually, he pulled out a knife and stabbed his opponent multiple times in the stomach before fleeing. The two men belong to the homeless community.

However, witnesses observed the incident and eventually provided investigators with a photo of the suspect.
Willi is therefore 50 to 70 years old, has a slim to medium build, white, combed back, possibly longer hair, a white beard, a high forehead and goes by the nickname Willi. At the time of the crime he was wearing a light-colored T-shirt.
Police asked for information – even anonymously – to the State Police Office, Mitte Department, at 01-31310-43800.
