Two passengers were killed in a near-collision between a bus and a car in Tyrol on Sunday. A 61-year-old woman was seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital.
Shortly before 10:30 on Sunday, a Syrian (46) living in Tyrol was driving a bus full of passengers on the municipal road Dorf in Schwoich past the football field towards L206. But suddenly the driver had to apply emergency braking because a 44-year-old Austrian wanted to pull his car from a parking lot onto the street.
No collision
“As a result of the braking process, two female passengers, aged 16 and 61, fell into the bus,” the police said. Fortunately, the teenager was only slightly injured. “The older woman suffered serious injuries in the form of a spinal fracture,” the director said. There was no collision between the two vehicles involved.
