Spectacular traffic accident Sunday evening in the Tyrolean lowlands: a Dane lost control of his car because he was blinded by the headlights of another vehicle. The 67-year-old went over the side of the road, where the car crashed into the embankment and overturned.
The accident happened shortly before 10 p.m. in the municipality of Kramsach in the Kufstein district. The 67-year-old Dane was driving his car on Brandenberger Straße (L4) when he said he was blinded by an oncoming vehicle.
This caused him to lose control of his car. The car went off the road, hit the embankment and overturned. Eventually the car came to a stop on the passenger side of the road.
A passerby made an emergency call
“An uninvolved driver then made an emergency call. The Kramsach fire brigade rescued the Dane from his car,” the police reported. The 67-year-old escaped in shock and was unharmed. There was serious damage to the vehicle.
