As reported, a body was found on Sunday in a small forest in Kennelbach near Bregenzerach in Vorarlberg. She discovered a couple who owned an allotment garden in the area. The two told ‘Krone’ about their gruesome find.
Mr. and Mrs. K. (both wish to remain anonymous) are still very excited, no wonder considering what they experienced on Sunday. The body was found by Mrs. K., who often goes to the forest to collect driftwood: “Suddenly I saw a hand,” she reports. She then immediately called her husband. After there was no response despite loud speeches, the two alerted the police.
Mr. and Mrs. K. say that they had already had the feeling that something was wrong the days before: “There had been a very unpleasant smell in the air since Thursday. We looked for the source, but found nothing.”

Mrs K. rules out that the body had been in the bushes for a long time: “I often look for driftwood there – there was nothing. The body had been there for a maximum of four days.”
Meanwhile, the police investigation is in full swing and the identity of the deceased is still unclear. According to information from the “Krone” it is the body of a woman. The director had originally announced that the gender could not be identified due to the poor condition.
