In recent days, Melania Trump has posted several videos to online media. “As a private citizen who has often been the subject of public criticism and misrepresentation, I feel an obligation to set the record straight,” she says in a black-and-white clip, referring to her book. “I think it’s important to share my perspective — the truth.”
The 256-page book, simply titled “Melania,” costs $40 (around 36 euros), while the signed version with photos costs $250. In the ad, the 54-year-old also addresses topics she has rarely or never spoken about before — from the assassination of her husband in July to the anti-racism protests in Washington in 2020 and the outcome of the 2020 election.
